Sage Van Wing is the executive producer of Oregon Public Broadcasting's daily talk show, "Think Out Loud."

She has produced daily news programs at other NPR affiliate stations Vermont Public Radio, KUOW in Seattle and KQED in San Francisco.

She graduated from Stanford University with a degree in anthropology.

While in Vermont, she became an expert sledder. While in Seattle, she learned to bike in the rain. Sage hopes someday to become an expert taxidermist.

Performing A Play In Your Livingroom

Going to sit in the audience at a theater isn’t an option right now, but Portland Center Stage has commissioned a series of plays aimed at bringing the theater into our homes. As a part of the Play at Home project, PCS commissioned four artists to write scripts for short plays that can be read and performed by anyone in the community in the comfort of their own homes. Anya Pearson and Josie Seid are two of the playwrights who worked on the project.


DACA Recipient Reacts To Supreme Court Decision

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled last week that President Trump cannot shut down the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, a program that protects about 700,000 young immigrants known as Dreamers from deportation. We talk to a local DACA recipient about the decision.
